With more than 20 years of experience grooming pets in Pinellas County, FL; our pet groomer and staff provide services for dogs and cats from simple baths to complete shaving. Our thorough knowledge of pet care helps to keep your pets' skin, nails, ears and hair healthy. Because Corinna is a Certified Veterinary Technician, she is a great resource for noticing infections or problems before they become more serious. She can discuss these problems with you and our veterinarian, saving you time and money; and getting them immediately started on medications or a treatment to help them feel better fast.
Dr Cowden orders special dermatological shampoos and treatments for specific problems including infections, itchy skin, fleas and excessive shedding. Be sure to let the staff know if your pet is having a problem and you would like Dr Cowden's recommendation. All grooming includes a complimentary nail trimming and ear cleaning. Anal gland expression and teeth brushing are also available upon request without additional charge.
A Pets Place is an animal hospital and occasional emergencies arise. Our grooming is by appointment and appointment times fill up quickly. Since Corinnas' primary passion is caring for pets she assists the doctor with surgeries and treatments as well. As such we ask for our owners to try to get their pets in early because rough cuts, baths, drying and finish cuts can take time. Your pet can stay with us for the length of the day, or be available for pick-up as soon as service is complete. Please let us know your preference when scheduling an appointment. Providing the safest, most loving enviroment during their stay; we require current vaccinations of all patients and offer the best flea control products available, like Comfortis, Cheristin and Bravecto. Dogs or cats not picked up at the end of the day can be boarded overnite if needed.
